The Renaissance was a historical period developed in Italy between the end of the Middle Ages and the beginning of the Modern Age in a span of time from the mid -15th century to the end of the 16th century.
It was a remarkable cultural and scientific renewal that brought us out of the dark ages of the Middle Ages, opening up the birth of science and the affirmation of reason over myth. It was a radical change that developed mainly in Florence thanks to the liberation of educational systems from the reins of the church. This may happen through the recovery of the ways of the Greek and Roman classical age and the renewed awareness of descent and connection with the ancient world. The main authors who disseminated beauty in the world are Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Sandro Botticelli, Raphael Sanzio, Donatello, and Filippo Brunelleschi, to name but a few.
The Renaissance Mystical Tour, will allow us a full immersion in the most significant places and masterpieces of the Renaissance, breathing closely the atmosphere of that incredible historical era.
During the first day we will visit Volterra, the city of alabaster, San Giminiano the village of towers, and Siena, the city of the Palio and the Contrade
The second day will be dedicated to Florence, with its thousand incredible beauties, and the third will end in Pisa in the shade of the most famous tower in the world.
