Shamti Ruiz is a graduate of the European University of Madrid, Spain, in Dance Sciences, with a master’s degree in Art Didactics. She is certified and is a facilitator of Transpersonal Psychology and Pneuma Breathwork at Pneuma Institute. She has spent more than 20 years professionally in the field of art and in transpersonal psychology, which aroused in her a deep interest to investigate her great therapeutic potential in the classical dances of India, This is the subject of his academic thesis at the European University of Madrid. He studied for 6 years in India, at the Academy of Bharatanatyam of ancestral lineage, and currently continues his studies under the guidance of Guru Smt. Gayarthri Keshavan. With all the experience and knowledge accumulated through many years of study around the world, Shamti Ruiz creates her own cultural and educational projects. She teaches Bharatanatyam Dance and Hindu philosophy in several countries in Europe, the United States, India and Mexico. She is international director of Pneuma Dance and facilitator at Pneuma Institute. She is currently at the University of Oxford, England where he continues his research projects and studying at the Oxford Center for Hindu Studies.
