Understanding the workings of Fierce Grace
The Universe is always on our side and always wants to guide and support us. Grace is both inside us and external to us, and I have just written my Spiritual Memoirs and called them Amazing Grace.
However not all aspects of grace manifest amazingly. Sometimes its ways can be fierce. Sometimes it has intentionally to appear to desert us in order to teach us and train us. Sometimes, we have to learn through suffering and loss and I believe that, species wise, we are all currently going through a period in our history where all these things are taking place. This talk will therefore explore how we might approach these critical times we are living in, in a new way, and learn to see them as an expression of grace manifesting fiercely in order to transform and empower us.
Bio
Dr. Serge Obolensky Beddington-Behrens, MA (Oxon.), Ph.D., K.O.M.L., is an Oxford-educated Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Author, Educator and Spiritual Activist. He has an online private practice and for forty years, has lectured, taught workshop and conducted Spiritual retreats all over England, Europe, America and Russia. He now does intensive individualised retreats with individuals and couples. He is the author of three books, Awakening the Universal Heart: A Guide for Spiritual Activists, Gateways to the Soul: Inner Work for the Outer World, and his new book, coming out in September, entitled Amazing Grace. In 1999 he was awarded an Italian Knighthood for services to Humanity. He currently lives in Mallorca, Spain.
